Went out fishing today with a client and the fishing was good. We started off with buzzbaits around the grass in
the morning and landed three keeper fish. My client wanted to learn how to fish deep water and read the graph so we did
not fish topwaters long. We went out to my first place and caught 4 nice fish with the biggest being 6lb.. The fish where
right on a brake line from 15 to 20 feet deep and the bait of choice was a C-Rigged brushhog and a hotlips crankbait. We left
this spot with the fish biting so he could see more deep water spots. We went to three more deep water spots and caught 4
more fish, but the size was not like the first spot. My client had to get off the water by Lunch time so all in all it was
not a bad day off fishing. He was happy and I had a good time fishing with him. Good fishing to all your Choke Canyon Guide

The fish has been slow the only pattern I have found is old pond damns in about 15 to 30 feet of water. The best bait
that I have found for this is a football jig, but dont be scared to try something different. Good luck and good fishing to

Well guys sorry for not posting any reports in awhile but the fishing has been slow. Their is good news though the fishing
has started to pick up some and my best bite has been with a shad colored trap in the grass. This past Saturday Choke Canyon
produced its first 15lb fish for the year and it weighed 15.09lb.. This fish was said to be caught in a hard wood tree in
12 feet of water on a 10in worm. Well good fishing to all. Your Choke Canyon Guide Justin Bauer

Ok guys the fishing has finally picked up. We went out on the 9th and caught 20 fish on 4in. fries. All the fish came out
of 5 to 7 feet of water on old hardwoods. We did not catch any big fish but it still was better than what it has been. Now
for the 10th it was another good day of fishing with 25 fish off of brush hogs. We did catch one good fish around 6 lb. but
most of them where buck bass. All the fish came from the same type of water from the day before. So look out guys its going
to get good here soon. Give me a call if you would like to book a trip. Thanks Justin Bauer 830-570-1837

Took out a trip this weekend and it was a good day of fishing. We caught 32 fish with three four pounders being the biggest
fish of the trip. We started off fliping trees in 6.5 feet of water on big flats. We caught most of the fish today on zoom
speed craws and brush hogs in watermelon red. We caught some more fish fliping trees on main lake points in the same water
depth. The water temp. was 59.5 deg. in the morning and warmed up to about 64 deg. by the end of the trip. Good luck and good
fishing to all. Your Choke Canyon Guide Justin Bauer 830-570-1837

Took out a trip today and had a good day with the best 5 fish wieghing 20+lb. The biggest fish (6+lb.) was caught in 30ft.
of water on a point with a C-Rig 12in. worm. The other fish were caught on a small rock hump in 5ft. of water with a C-Rig
Senko. We also caught some fish on a old road bed in 19ft of water with a C-Rig Senko. The lake level is still on the rise
with the water looking the best by the dam. The water temp. was around 70 deg. all day. Thanks Your Choke Canyong guide Justin

Went out and had another good trip. We had around 22lb. with the best 5 fish. All the fish we caught today were caught on
C-Rig Lizards on main lake points in 20ft. of water. The key was to slow down when you felt something on bottom. You would
almost have to dead stick it. Thanks your Choke Canyon Guide Justin Bauer 830-570-1837
